More on port-forwarding

While the issue I'm experiencing is related to my router ( - re: UDP 16261 specifically, reporting "the specified port(s) are being used by other configurations") - my server is multi-homed and I *CAN* forward to 16261 the secondary NIC (wireless, slower). TCP ports 16262+ have forwarded to the primary NIC's interface just fine.

I expect I can have internet clients connect without an issue even if I were to route everything over the back-up interface, I'm curious to know if I should be OK to leave it as-is - is the UDP routing is only for the initial connection before establishing routes via TCP?
