Only one person can join my rented server at a time?

So I rented a 8-slot server from GameServers and I've been having issues the whole time.

 

After I finally managed to get the server running, I tried joining while my buddy was playing and I could not connect. We discovered that only one person could join the server at a time, apparently.

 

The rest of us got this weird TCP message about a port we weren't even trying to connect to.

 

 

Has anyone had this or have any ideas how I can fix this...? Otherwise, I guess I'm just gonna ask for a refund from GameServers.com.
