  1. So office desks are non-rotatable. Learned this after clearing an entire town I wanna base in of nearly all it's furniture to get to level 10 Carpentry. There any mods that let me build any piece of furniture or makes the debug controls more user friendly? Figuring out how to spawn furniture was a chore in itself then it seems some items don't behave like they're suppose. I've found some you can't pick up or interact with and need the debug to remove. I really don't wanna "cheat" and do it legit instead but I've just had enough of the little quirks of PZ and just wanna get my base done.
  2. Besides mood lighting and only one (green) needed in two makeshift electronics colored bulbs are pretty useless. So I thought they would be great as a homemade fishing tackle. Smash them and string some of the pieces together. The sun reflecting off all the colors would surely attract some fish. Actual tackle are hard to come by and when the line snaps they're gone for good. This way they'd be a little easier to replace and you could use them sooner instead of hoarding them for when you're a higher level in fishing. Tie it to a recipe magazine and a skill or two in tailoring and fishing, a little thread and atleast 2 different colored bulbs I think would work best. I could maybe learn and hack together something in a few hours but It would use default assets and be rather plain. I think someone with the skills could do wonders with this and would be an excellent addition to Zomboid.
  3. I really have no idea what I'm ding when it comes to modding but I wanted to change a few attributes of some of the items in the game and with no idea what to do I just downloaded mods from the Steam Workshop and looked at what they did. After trial and error I sort of get it and got two working. However one that changes the weight of sewing needles has blue text with the mod's name and gray text saying it overrides Project Zomboid when you hover over it and the other that changes the display name of all the Louisville maps displays the text box like any default item. Is this because one is in a lua folder and the other in a script one? Or maybe the structure of the text file? It would be cool if I could remove that extra text but it's not necessary.
