After a hard days work, bashing zombie heads, when retuning for an evening nap, do you notice that your are basically squeaky clean? This is a bit unrealistic, and running around in a shirt full of blood is bound to get you infected one day. Also clothes are a bit redundant once you get a pair for winter and one for summer. And it's wierdthat when you take the clothes of a zombie, they are basically clean and ready to be worn. Items needed for washing your clothes are also in the game most of them. 2x sturdy sticks and a twine allows you to place a 4 square long clothing line, out in the sun, enough for 4 items, including wet towels. To wash the clothes, a bucket full of water is enough, and also a barrel. After washing dirty clothes, the water should change to "dirty water", and drinking it or watering plants is not advised. Washing just with water will not get you clean clothes back, but they will be cleaner. Eventually, the clothes will deteriorate and become unusable for wearing. To remedy this, bleach and soap are used to make clothe very clean and last longer. I belive this extra feature witll add another layer to apocalypse survival, one that is ignored in most video games. And laundry is fun sometimes, lol. Imagine yourself washing clothes in the ohio river... "damn, i'm pretty good at this, look at this sparkling white underwear", and completly oblivious to the horde gathering behind you, attracted by the water splashes .
