  1. This shouldn't be a mod issue and I don't think there is any issue with the files. Unless mods in steam somehow is added to another directory and these files are checked instead. But that doesn't explain why it worked before when someone, in that case, had a mod and someone else didn't have that mod. So something with the last update has created an issue for some people. You could try to turn off the check-sum check for the time being. But then people can cheat.
  2. This should not be a mod issue. After the update I have tried to connect to two different servers and get the same fault. One of the servers is a friends server(not public) and he can connect to that one without a problem. The other one was a public server. I have no mods installed and done a reinstall deluxe of eveyrthing related to PZ on my computer. The only way I could think this could be a mod issue is if mods in steam wouldn't effect the main directory and adds them to another dir. Then this dir is checked instead and my friend has forgotten that he has a mod installed. As I just have just done a checksum-check of all files in \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid\media\ and all subdirectories and compared this to the checksum for these directories from his computer. We have the same amount of files and all of them have the same md5 checksum.
