Hiho folks, I keep on running into disappearing zombies with my settings in MP. Right now its at insane levels and whenever we (2 people) cause too much attention they start vanishing or pretend nobody is around whilie killing stuff next to them or using guns kinda close. Especially when driving they just go poof while looking at them. I know it happens because the system in place removes them IF packets are lost or the server notices framedrops or stuff like that on players to avoid "unfair" deaths. It is definetly not the culling mechanic because it happens with a lot less then 500 around and while looking at them. My problem is it avoids "deserved" deaths right now far more often then undeserved ones and on top of that cleaning up some locations is far too easy. Any suggestions for Server Settings or stuff the client can do to minimise that problem? Im fine with less zombies if they at least stick around if you make a mistake and attract them all. A military base that empties itself is kinda gamebreaking.... Server is a g-portal Server with 18gb ram and still at least 5-6gb left when those probs occur.

Without more Information it could be a pletora of problems: 1 Mod conflict - Just go for Brita and then add mods till the problem is back 2 Missing dependecies - Brita is basically 3 mods Armor/Weapons + the "Mainmod" - last one missing maybe? 3 Snakes Modpack if used wont work with Brita 4 servertest.ini problems - if not set up correct it can lead to a shitload of trouble, make sure every mod and id is done the same. Meaning Brita weapon mod name and id first, then armor and so on. Dont mix up here. 5 Anythign else i cant know without seeing the serverlogs and/or the setting files

I have a Server there as well and it works fine, just needs more work somehow then others i used. How i fixed it: Stop the Running Server then: 1 Setup a Game for a local Host with every mod and map needed. 2 Save your Settings 3 Browse you local Server Files and open the .ini you just saved 4 Copy Mod= Map= inlcuding all you added. 5 Copy the Ini via ftp from your Server and overwrite the lines in there with your copy 6 Do the same with the id 7 Reupload you editet .ini to the server 8 Kill ALL Data in the server directory (you need/want a clean fresh map!) 9 Restart Server 10 should work now Edit: Every time you change an option via webinterface you will kill you mapsettings btw. The Browser only allows the basic map settings by default. So do that before any changes to the .ini is made.
