I am also having this exact issue and nothing has worked so far.

Crashed my car badly. Replaced the hood with a 40% one. Hit a fence and reduced it to 16%. I have since then found two BRAND NEW 100% heavy hoods. When trying to replace my hood with both of these they instantly drop to 0% after a "successful" install. However when i put the 16% back on (cause it's better than 0%..) Works just fine. The only other thing of mention is that I do not have a windshield atm.
