  1. I just want to add the solution from discord here as it might be useful for others as well

@WolfhunterHUN you need to locate your tmx files in windows, right click on one of them and click on "open with" then select tileZed and select "always use this program", now when you right click on a cell in worldEd and click open in TIlezed it should work

click on edit and then preferences and then on the zomboid tab. The "WorldEd Project Files" section must include your map mods pzw file. Click on the little + button, navigate to your map files and select the pzw file. Once done, completely close Tilezed and worldEd etc and then open Tilezed back up, now when you open a cell from worldEd it should show you all your placed lots on that cell too.

I'll just leave a comment here. I am curious about this too.

Just for info I have tested and the metal bar doors and the ones with the number code appear to be locked if shut (can be randomly open). If you spawn in a building all doors are default, but all other buildings have randomized doors and these appear to be locked mostly. For normal doors I found some may be locked some open or shut but not locked. So it seems only spawn house is exemption from random door rule.

  3. I followed the guide further now and want to add world detail and other zones, but when I right click the cell for example 0,0 or 0,1 and open with TileZed it does not do anything. Can you advise how I could open it or why this might be happening? I want to start adding detail to the map if there is a workaround would be cool.

AFAIK it's up to the RNG whether doors are locked. To make things a little worse, a key works on all doors in a building. If you want each apartment to have a unique key, you'll need to split the building up into a lot for each one.

How is that possible? I mean splitting a building up to different lots? These buildings are multi story buildings so I dont think that would work.

  5. I recently started a new map mod for fun purposes, but it does not seem to load up for testing. I have made it by following every letter of this guide:

I attach the console text, but I have really no idea what can be wrong. I tried to use it with the IWBUMS branch, which of course might be an issue but its only a map and i didn't mod any files that would interfere with gameplay. My other map mods from workshop work just fine so I guess it should not be the issue. Please help with what I have done wrong or if its a problem outside my control. I also upload my files maybe there can be an issue with names or something I have overlooked. Screenshot of the directories.
