  1. I would first recommend starting a server with just the default settings and invite him there to see if that works first. If it does, then you can try adding back mods / changing settings. If it suddenly stops working then it would mean that it was caused by one of your changes.
  2. Not without either creating your own modded map, or without use of mods. I am not aware of any that do that though.
  3. Ah, those are not able to spawn loot unfortunately, only containers already created and set up in the map can spawn items, not ones built by players or admins or with brush tools.
  4. In multiplayer, the server setting is called "HoursForLootRespawn" In singleplayer, the sandbox settings for that is called Loot Respawn, you can change it when you start a new game and go to "Custom Sandbox"
  5. It would seem like that error is with the authentication. How is he trying to join the server? And how are you hosting the server?
  6. Hm, that makes it difficult to tell what exactly is causing the issue. In this case, can you check the Windows reliability monitor to see if the Project Zomboid crash is shown there? If it is, can you share a screenshot of the Technical Details section? https://www.howtogeek.com/school/using-windows-admin-tools-like-a-pro/lesson3/ https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/sk-sk/000178177/how-to-use-windows-reliability-monitor-to-identify-software-issues
  7. Hmm, the log does seem to just stop once it gets to loading the server, though there are no errors in this console. In which case, can you share the latest “hs_err_pid” file found in your main game folder “Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid”? These logs may contain more information about any crashes. If there are more files, then share all of them.
  8. Can you first replicate the issue without any mods? After that can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
  9. It shows here that the logs.zip only has 1937KB, which would be around 2MB, are you sure you are sending the correct file?
  10. Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
  11. If you have issues with mods, try disabling them one by one or in batches to figure out which specific mod is causing the problems. Do it on a new save to prevent any issues on your current playthrough, as removing mods can cause items to be permanently deleted.
  12. Can you replicate the issue without any mods enabled? After you do that, can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
  13. Seems to be an issue due to the "Base.Stocking_String" item, do you have any mods enabled? Did you try disabling them?

  15. You mean you want everyone to SPAWN in Raven Creek, or do you want Raven Creek to be the only map? Since I do not think the standard map can be deleted.
  16. Search for "Stack Trace" in the log, you will see a lot of mods with errors listed. Too many for me to write here.
  17. Unfortunately, your PC specifications are below the minimum game requirements as written on the Steam page. I can only recommend switching to the older "Legacy" game versions by going to your Steam Library > Right click Project Zomboid > Properties > Betas > Select the Legacy 40 or older versions.
  18. Does the error happen on the 64 bit version for you as well if you tested there?
  19. Try going to the Home/Zomboid folder on your PC and edit the options.ini file. In that file, edit the fullscreen=true line to fullscreen=false Then try launching the game again.
  20. Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
  21. Thanks, I can see the error in the console log. Though I tried replicating the issue on my 32 bit version and I do not get any errors. Which means the issue might be with your game install. Can you try doing a full reinstall in that case? First, uninstall the game, then go to "Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid" and make sure there are no leftover files or folders there. After that, go to "C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid" and delete everything there except the "Saves" folder. Then just install the game again and see if that helps.
  22. Unusual, it seems like there are no more logs after the 31st January, the logs seem to just corrupt after that. In that case, can you either share the console.txt file from the same Zomboid folder instead? Alternatively, you can share the whole "Logs" folder from there, since it would contain a lot of other game logs. You would have to compress it first before sending.
  23. Could you reproduce the error and then share the logs.zip file again? So we can check it.
  24. Thanks, based on the logs, there do seem to be a lot of mods enabled, and the errors seem to be most likely coming from those mods. Can you try going to C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid again and delete the "mods" folder located there? After that, try starting a new game and see if the errors still happen there? This is to make sure that there are no mods causing the issues.
  25. Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
