    Mod not loading

Make sure you enable the mod in both the Steam Workshop and Mods tabs in the server settings.
  2. The last log still shows your Intel card listed in there, are you sure this is the latest one when you plugged in your monitor correctly? Did you restart your PC after doing that?
  3. In the case it is not a laptop, can you make sure your monitor is plugged into your dedicated graphics card instead of your motherboard? Here is a simple visual:
  4. Is this a laptop? Since if it is, you may need to set the ProjectZomboid application to use the Nvidia card manually: https://pureinfotech.com/set-gpu-app-windows-10/ https://support.serato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202305784-Changing-graphics-card-settings-to-use-your-dedicated-GPU-on-a-Windows-computer-
  5. Can you share the whole error log? As we need the whole log to properly diagnose the issue.
  6. This seems to be a Java misconfiguration. Can you try using the "Alternate launch" option when launching the game through Steam and see if that helps you fix this issue?
  7. That is unusual, do you perhaps have any mods enabled that may cause this issue? Secondly, it is not possible to mark a specific building as unclaimable at the moment.
  8. Back up the whole Zomboid folder (just in case) of the server. Test out the server without mods, then you can just load in the backed up saves again after the test. A backup needs to be done because once you remove a mod all its related items get deleted, meaning you cannot just add it back and get the items back without a backup.
  9. Do these ping spikes happen without any mods enabled as well? Logs will not be helpful in the case you are describing most likely. So you will have to do a lot of manual trial and error.
  10. Thanks for the logs, this issue seems similar to one that another player experienced recently, it does seem to be related to the nosteam function and how it handles users as far as I can see. The player posted a solution, so I can copy it here for you: Alright, I think I've found a way to fix this issue based on the details I've gathered throughout the troubleshooting process. When using another PC to join the server, the issue doesn't occur and the world doesn't reset. I've come up with the case: - There might be a conflict with files and processes when running the dedicated server and the game under the same PC USER account. My dedicated server is started by running the StartServer64.bat file, which means that when I run it directly, it will run under the current user that I am logged in with, let's say "User1". Then when I continue to start the game to play, the game will also run under User1. Therefore, I tried to make a copy of the entire game folder, add the -nosteam parameter (to run it without steam), then Shift+right click on ProjectZomboid64.exe and choose "Run as different user", then enter the login information for PC account User2 that I created earlier (Of course, all necessary mods, if any, must be manually copied into the Zomboid/mods folder of User2). The game starts and I was able to join the server without the world reset issue. And that's how I figured out how to fix the issue of "world reset when hosting a dedicated server and playing on the same PC" or "world reset every time I join my dedicated server first" without completely deleting whole game progress and starting over again. Of course, it's still recommended to regularly backup the save files on both the server and the client side and properly shut down the server to avoid any potential issues in the future. I hope this information will help someone who encounters a similar problem in the future. tl;dr: Create 1 more Windows user with password (You only need to login this Windows user account once on your computer), then run the game using that user account (Shift + Right Click on "ProjectZomboid64.exe" -> Run as different user), that seems to fix the problem. Best regards!
  11. Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid as well?
  12. The default settings are already very optimized. Unless you are looking for something specific?
  13. Can you try using the "Alternate launch" option when launching the game through Steam and see if that works?
  14. If you have an AMD graphics card, then the recent driver for it is causing issues in OpenGL games such as Project Zomboid. I recommend updating your drivers to the latest driver version from the AMD website: https://www.amd.com/en/support
  15. The log just shows that the mods are being updated. Which is what "initializing" means. Let the server initialize, the more mods you have and the slower your internet is, the longer it will take.
  16. ConstructionPreventsLootRespawn means that any player activity in the area will prevent construction, this is logged in a different file than the standard map files. Meaning to unmark the area as having any construction, you would either have to disable that option, or reset the whole map.
  17. Can you elaborate on that? Do you have loot respawn turned on in the server settings? Can you share the server settings here?
  18. Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
  19. Zpop files do not contain any info about vehicles as far as I know, are you sure those are the only files you deleted?
  20. You may try disabling the overlays, even if you do not use them, as they may rarely cause the issues that you are experiencing. Other than that you may try testing out without the second monitor to see if that would be the main cause of the problem.
  21. What are your PC specifications in that case? Since they do not seem to be listed in the log. And did you manually update your drivers after switching to Windows 10?
  22. Unusual, do you perhaps have any applications running in the background in that case? Or do you perhaps have multiple monitors? Applications with overlays such as Discord, Steam Overlay or anything similar may cause issues with alt tabbing with the game.

    Error log

Issue with "Base._BackUPTools" item, that looks like a modded item. So I would recommend removing / looking into that mod.
  24. What are your full PC specifications? Do they fulfill the minimum game requirements?
  25. I would recommend playing in Borderless mode if you tab out often.
