  1. Yes it is, unfortunately based on the logs, your PC does not fulfill the minimum game requirements that are written on our Steam Store page. I can only recommend switching to the older "Legacy" game versions by going to your Steam Library > Right click Project Zomboid > Properties > Betas > Select the Legacy 40 or older versions.
  2. Can you try using the "Alternate launch" option when launching the game through Steam? If the game fails to start again, can you share your console.txt file, found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
  3. It seems like in the last 5 game launches you exited the game normally without any crash. Can you first try replicating the crash and then send the logs again? Preferably without mods as well, since you had several enabled, and mods may cause unexpected issues with the game.
  4. Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
  5. Looks like some texture issues? Possibly caused by the mods? Try leaving the area, it would likely fix itself in a new area. If you already tried that, then that might be a problem, try taking off all your items and then reload the character?
  6. It would be Safemode that does that. And "Compatibility Mode" is just the term that Steam uses for Proton, while the game itself has its own term for the Safemode. If you play natively you can see that you can launch the game in "Compatibility Mode" once you click Play in Steam, which would be the safemode. I have also just done a test to launch the game with Proton and zoom works just fine there. Can you make sure that you do not have Zoom disabled in your game options? Or that you are not using any extra Launch Parameters in the Properties in Steam?
  7. If you have any game issues with mods enabled, try disabling them one by one or in batches to figure out which specific mod is causing the problems. Do it on a new save to prevent any issues on your current playthrough, as removing mods can cause items to be permanently deleted.
  8. If commands are being accepted, it means the server itself launched perfectly fine. Are you able to connect to it using your Local IP if the server is hosted on the local machine?
  9. Go to C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid and copy the "Server" "db" and "Saves/Multiplayer" folders. Then send them to your friend in the exact same location. They should not be able to just start the server from the Host menu as you can.
  10. Do you perhaps have any mods enabled? As some can cause the issues you described. You may try fixing it by using the /teleportto 10000,10000,0 command to teleport you out of the black screen area if you have access to the chat.
  11. Did you update them? Since that would be the important part, not reinstalling them. If you did, can you share the game logs again?

    game wont play

The logs show you normally loading into the game and there are no errors there. Can you further elaborate on what you mean by "Game wont work"? What is the problem with the game exactly?
  13. Thanks, based on the log it seems like there are some graphical errors, they may be caused due to your graphics driver being out of date. I recommend updating it from here in that case: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/196603/intel-core-i51035g1-processor-6m-cache-up-to-3-60-ghz/downloads.html
  14. Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
  15. This would look like desynchronization, are you perhaps playing on a Wifi instead of an ethernet cable?
  16. Delete the file, then verify your game files through Steam. That should fix the issue.
  17. Try going to the C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid folder and edit the options.ini file. In that file, edit the fullscreen=true line to fullscreen=false Then try launching the game again. If this does not help, do you perhaps have any controllers or anything else connected to the PC except your keyboard / mouse? If you do, try disconnecting it and launch the game then.
  18. The last log shows that you for some reason changed the 16261 port to 16262, this should not be changed as that port is already used. I recommend you just use the default "servertest" settings and do not change anything, then launch the server.
  19. Seems like the issue is due to the server name you created. I recommend changing the settings name to the default "servertest" and try launching that.
  20. What does the console write after that? Does it just shut down? Have you tried writing a command such as "save" in the console and see if it reacts?
  21. Yes that would be the correct file, can you attach it to your message and send it here?
  22. Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
  23. Your PC does not fulfill the minimum requirements as written on our Steam store page. I can only recommend switching to the older "Legacy" game versions by going to your Steam Library > Right click Project Zomboid > Properties > Betas > Select the Legacy 40 or older versions.
  24. The logs you shared do not show any specific mod failing other than the Cheat Menu mod showing a few errors. Which means that the logs will not help you in this specific case.
  25. Thanks, based on the logs, if you have an AMD graphics card, then the recent driver for it is causing issues in OpenGL games such as Project Zomboid. I recommend updating your drivers to the latest driver version from the AMD website: https://www.amd.com/en/support
