  1. Hm, yeah this is unusual, it just seems to fail to create the Java VM, do you have enough RAM on your PC when trying to start the game? At least 4GB preferable, And have you tried reinstalling your game? As the logs you sent seem to be from the old 40 version of the game, while the latest one is 41.
  2. The option is in the System tab:
  3. This looks like a cooperative game, which means this is Multiplayer. Split screen currently may not work well in Multiplayer, it is only recommended to reliably use it in Singleplayer.
  4. Thanks, could you try resetting your Intel settings as well in this case? Right-click on your desktop and select Graphics Properties. Click 3D. Click Restore Defaults. Additionally, are you running any applications in the background while playing the game?
  5. If you have issues with mods, try disabling them one by one or in batches to figure out which specific mod is causing the problems. Do it on a new save to prevent any issues on your current playthrough, as removing mods can cause items to be permanently deleted.

  7. Could you share the logs.zip file again in that case? So we can compare it with the older one to make sure there are no issues and to check if the drivers are out of date.
  8. I assume one of your mods broke the game in that case, I would recommend deleting everything in the User/Zomboid folder and then reinstalling the game. See if that helps fix the issue.
  9. The error specifies that your PC is running out of RAM, in which case I can only really suggest lowering any game options, including the resolution to decrease the strain on your RAM. Additionally, turn off any background programs. Certain internet browsers can take quite a lot of RAM so turning them off would be recommended.
  10. Are you using a mouse or a trackpad to rightclick?
  11. Did you perhaps change any settings after opening it the first time?
  12. Your drivers seem to be out of date, can you install the latest ones from the Intel website? https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download-center/home.html
  13. If you have issues with mods, try disabling them one by one or in batches to figure out which specific mod is causing the problems. Do it on a new save to prevent any issues on your current playthrough, as removing mods can cause items to be permanently deleted.
  14. Do you have any mods enabled? As the issue is likely due to them.
  15. Can you try going to the Zomboid folder and delete the "mods" folder there? After that, start a new game. If that does not help, can you share the latest “hs_err_pid” file found in your main game folder “Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid”?
  16. Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
  17. How did you install the server exactly? With that specific error I recommend using the SteamCMD version: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2683719613
  18. There do not seem to be any crash logs in the logs.zip you shared, can you first replicate the crash in Singleplayer and then on the server and then share the logs again?
  19. Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
  20. Can you share a screenshot of the error you get?
  21. It is caused by mods, based on the log you have the "ModTemplate" mod enabled for some reason. As its name suggests, it is just a template and it should never actually be enabled. So just disable it.
  22. I see, in the case the file is empty, try going to your Steam Library > Right click Project Zomboid > Properties > Set Launch Options > Type -cachedir=C:\Zomboid > Start the game
  23. Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid? And can you share the latest “hs_err_pid” file found in your main game folder “Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid”?
  24. Yes it is, unfortunately based on the logs, your PC does not fulfill the minimum game requirements that are written on our Steam Store page. I can only recommend switching to the older "Legacy" game versions by going to your Steam Library > Right click Project Zomboid > Properties > Betas > Select the Legacy 40 or older versions.
  25. Can you try using the "Alternate launch" option when launching the game through Steam? If the game fails to start again, can you share your console.txt file, found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
