Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?

There seems to be a problem with your graphic drivers or your game installation, as if there were some incorrect files there. In this case, I recommend doing a full reinstall. First, uninstall the game, then go to "Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid" and make sure there are no leftover files or folders there. Then just install the game again and see if that helps.

If you have an AMD graphics card, then the recent driver for it is causing issues in OpenGL games such as Project Zomboid. I recommend updating your drivers to the latest driver version from the AMD website: https://www.amd.com/en/support

Crash "The system is out of physical RAM or swap space"

How much RAM are you allocating to the server? -
If you have issues with mods, try disabling them one by one or in batches to figure out which specific mod is causing the problems. If you do not have any problems during your gameplay, you can likely ignore the error.
-
Generally caused by mods. Do you have any enabled?
-
Crash caused by glfw.dll, this generally means that it is a graphics crash. Would need more info from the console.txt file in User/Zomboid together with the err pid log.
-
Does the Right Click > Tools > Spawn Vehicles work in that case? Or alternatively, does /createvehicle Base.SportsCar work? Whichever one you are using right now, try the alternative.

Just a question, did your friend port forward the necessary ports when hosting a server? On GoG, the player needs to manually port forward the 16261 port on both the Firewall and Router, otherwise it will not let any outside connections through. This would likely be the reason of your issues if that was not done.
-
There only seem to be generic connection errors here. Does your friend have the GoG version as well? Additionally, do you have any antivirus on your PC that may block the game connections?

I cant open project zomboid but it's saying its running in the background

Try going to C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid and delete the "mods" folder there. -
Yes, a recording would be very helpful in understanding the issue further.
-
That is possibly caused by mods, does it happen if you disable all of them?
-
Do you perhaps have a recording of the issue?

Go to C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid\Lua on your PC. Open the layout.ini file Edit the Minimap line and set visible=false to visible=true Save and try loading the game again? If that fails, try deleting the file instead.

8gb would be enough yes, the crash is unlikely related to RAM, if it was then it would say as such that the game / PC ran out of RAM.

Likely a full Windows reinstall would be able to fix it in that case, as the driver issues may be pretty hard to solve? You may also try lowering your game settings to see if that prevents the crash.

Is your friends server hosted on a GoG version as well? Are you able to join any other servers?

Yeah unfortunately the error in the last screenshot is a ntdll crash.. which as you may have looked into is still a driver / Windows related crash, therefore there is not much else I can suggest that is suggested on the Microsoft forums about the issue as for example here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1180713/app-crash-faulting-module-name-ntdll-dll You may try doing a clean reinstall of your Nvidia drivers to make sure there are no issues with that specifically, you would need to use a Driver Uninstaller tool though, as the standard Windows uninstall generally does not fully reinstall the driver: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPqUeU09cf8

The error specifies that it would be an issue with nvoglv64.dll, which means it is caused by the Nvidia driver most likely. I would first recommend reinstalling the game, make sure to manually delete any leftover files as well. After that, check the links below, you will likely need to reinstall your graphic driver and install the latest one from the Nvidia website: https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Faulting-module-nvoglv64-dll-when-launching-AutoCAD.html https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/bug-random-nvoglv64-dll-crash-after-driver-update/185612
