I had a similar issue, but without any errors.
It ended up being the Le Gourmet Revolution mod in Snake's modpack (it adds its own farming system).
So you either have to choose Hydrocraft and disable Gourmet or vice versa.
I had it in an active game so i couldnt disable Gourmet, resolved it by renaming the files in the Gourmet mod folder by appending .bak
workshop\content\108600\2719327441\mods\LeGourmetRevolution\media\lua\client\Farming\ISUI
Now this may not be your specific issue, but any mod that possibly interferes with the farming system in any way could be causing it.
You can go through your mods, if they have a Farming folder in the lua\client folder they might be the culprit.
Start a new solo game with that mod disabled (have cheat menu), trowel, seed packet and try it out.
