thinking of running a server again. back in january the  'Public=false' setting didn't work.

has that been fixed?

[trying to add mods 'Coordinate & SVNoLuckInMP']

i've added these lines to my testserver.ini file.

 

WorkshopItems=515075184;564350497

Mods=Coordinate;SVNoLuckInMP

 

restarted the server and confirmed it downloaded the mods.

they are both not working though. do i have to activate them somehow on the server?

i think it needs tweaking. brick buildings should not catch fire from the outside.

green grass, sand and roads buring should not be a thing without gasoline etc.

zombies that are on fire take way, way too long to die IMO.

 

i have fire spread disabled.

i'm not happy with the loot in my world. rare on all three with no respawns is not fun for us.

i want to change to food rare, weapons normal, and other normal, with weekly respawn.

using the PZServerSettings.bat it has INI/Loot Respawn, and Sandbox/World Options/Loot Respawn.

do i need to change both?

if your using 'PZServerSettings.bat' just click load, then select 'servertest.ini'

that will be your servers current settings.

i'm starting a new admin character on my server and wish to add xp to get the server ready for players.

is there a list of perknames for the addxp command?

i just made my own server yesterday. used the 'PZServerSettings.bat' file to set the 'servertest.ini' settings.

under zombie lore i selected 'proper zombies' as i do in my single player sandbox. the zombies we got are much

faster, stronger, and in greater numbers. can anyone tell me why?

thanks. yes the PZServerSettings.bat modifies the lua files as well.

 

does the tool on steam let you choose 32 or 64bit? does it give you the PZServerSetting.bat?

i followed this guide to install 'pzserver' via SteamCMD to C:\pzserver

'C:\pzserver\StartServer64.bat' uses 'c:\users\username\Zomboid\Server\servertest.ini'

is there a way to change what ini file it uses for settings, or should i just save my settings as 'servertest.ini'?

 

changing my settings with C:\pzserver\PZServerSettings\PZServerSettings.bat is pretty slick by the way.

Not Satan, noticed with the 'fire brush' when you click to turn it on, starts a fire under the menu.

i'm going to be admin of my own server. for me to use this mod, the server and all the clients need to have it correct?

Not sure but it seems that I am not getting this. Or am I doing something wrong? This was just a test. I took the bag and placed a bowl in there and I cant access it.

i'm playing a save from 33.14 on 33.16. TV across the street from my safe house won't turn on.

says power source near by. the next house the TV turns on.

 

loving the update BTW. lots of nice fixes.
