  2. Great Idea. I use Indifferent Broccoli and the Battlemetric service but havent really seen the benefit of this as means of broadcasting our server. We've hosted servers for many different games over the last 20 years and know this is a great way to attract new players and keep server pops fresh. Ideally, I think you'd need it to be independent to server hosts and haver a universal PX community website endorse or promote it. It should be interactive and allow filtering (eg. filtering mods enabled/ PVP/ PVE, etc). A good way of filtering map addons too - these are something that long standing players like to be able to see. I always like servers that can show average players on a server too rather than just active players. As this gives a more realistic view of a server as time goes on and how consistent it is. I used to like the Gametracker servers that allowed you to see in-game points scores or a means to rank players (this gave added incentive to players) and ideally this would be transferable between servers - I appreciate this probably requires some kind of universal in-game metric though like rank system or whatever - but maybe in-game hours? That would give an idea of how experienced players are at least. Maybe a way to promote your server via forums with nice hyper links to show off your server? Maybe some way of linking streamers channels to the server?
  3. Hi, still looking? You're welcome to try our server out at DAY PZ (we have a thread here on the boards) . We meet most of your requirements, only thing is we do permit PVP, however both parties have to engage via an opt in systemthat has cool down periods. To be fair the community is fairly small (4 different factions currently) with between 2 and 4 members each, plus randons/singles/lone wolves around the map. All, to my knowledge are friendly and will play cooperatively and we actively encourage specialisations and roles. Take a look and see what you think, if not, no worries and good luck with finding a server!

The KNOX virus was just the start, the crux of how it all began, how it all changed! The infected caught us unprepared and hit us hard, we were never meant to survive. We had become soft, over reliant on technology, welfare and corporate greed force feeding us whatever they wanted us to consume! We forgot how to fend for ourselves. We had forgotten our instincts and for most, this was the downfall. Faith in the system left them vulnerable and exposed. No help was coming, it was time to live or die... too many died. The horror of the infection and the reality of being truly on our own was enough to finish most. The infected were just the beginning though, and soon became just part of the background noise - there to be used or deal with as part of the new life. For the ones who did survive, thrived. They become the evolved survivors of the old ways, decisive, adaptable, tenacious, harsh..... brutal. Humans ultimately will always adapt and overcome. Humans will always do what it takes and strive for more. It was inevitable some "norm" would be forged. Those who grasped the severity of the situation were able to hold their own. Fleeing the most dangerous situations, running, hiding, scavenging, defending themselves. Learning the "rules" of the new world and the infected. Once understanding the infected, they fought back. Using whatever was at their disposal, whatever could be salvaged from the old world to make their daily routine for life that little bit easier. Soon some survivors banded together, creating factions, creating strength in numbers and comfort in small communities. Smart groups fell back on traditional ways, as old as civilisation itself, sharing resources and trading. Some even grew rich and powerful from the basic currencies (Gold/Silver), using their wealth to secure themselves, making life much easier for them and their close circles. This accrued wealth and power would lead to others reverting to even more fundamental human instincts, the instinct of war! Why do the hard work yourself when taking from others was much easier for the strong. Others remained alone, preferring to not share their spoils with others. Humanity had reset, society was in exile. The ones who survive today forge on with life, foraging, looting, crafting, building, banding together, trading, stealing,..... killing. Humans are the real threat, the real danger in this brave new world. The question is, how will you survive? OBJECTIVE OF THE SERVER - A WORD FROM THE ADMIN Disclaimer - this server is made for PLAYING. Tweaks and conditions are made to make it more playable and enjoyable! Its NOT hardcore survival or role play. I love PZ and have played it on and off since 2014. I have been part of an adult gaming community for over 22 years and we've dabbled with PZ as well as other fantastic zombie/survival games such as DAYZ and SCUM. PZ, in my humble opinion it is up there, if not better than them all, certainly in terms of potential and atmosphere. It offers what most don't and the only issue I have with the game is, it/the community is still focused heavily on the survival/virus/survival aspect and lacks end game/long term play objectives - it doesn't utilise the MULTIPLAYER and FACTION/BANDIT/HERO potential it has. PZ has HUGE potential to focus on MMO elements this has in creating the BEST online survival game. The aim of this server is simple - offer long term fun and objectives for players. Be it banding togethers, fighting others, building bases or camps, becoming rich or simply surviving with others. Our server rewards long term players and looks to provide long term goals. PVP is enabled but there are systems to try and appease all styles of play. Bases have some limited protection but are radiable (for the most determined!). Server regularly restarts, packs available for new starters and admins available most of the time/day or night. Currently, population is growing and we've recently reset the server for balance. SERVER CONDITIONS - MILD WEATHER - No excessive rain or fog. - 4 HOUR IN-GAME DAY CYCLE - 3hrs daylight, 1 hour night-time. Server restarts every 4 hours for updates/saves. Loot will respawn each cycle. - DECENT LOOTING - Rare food/survival/luxury items. Common mele weapons/ammo. Vehicles are fairly common. - 1.5x SKILL AMPLIFIER -Makes it easier to level up, less of a grind but still a challenge. - JOURNAL BACKUP - Keep a journal at your base or in your grab-bag as a skills recovery if you die! It can only be used once before you have to create a new journal. - BASE BUILDING ANYWHERE - NOT JUST IN BUILDINGS! A big part of our server is that you can build your own base from ground up - decide if you want a hidden little survivor shed/cottage or a huge community fortress! You can claim "safehouse" land anywhere and build from the ground up. This is the recommended way to build you safehouse in order to stop others finding it! Tip- pick somewhere where no one would find you! - BASES LAST FOR 15 DAYS (if you don't log in by day 15 base may be auto cleaned) - LIGHTER WOOD - Just makes it easier to craft and build. - BASE BUILDING PACKS AVAILABLE FROM ADMIN FOR TRADE (GOLD BARS) - MASSIVE MAP EXTENSIONS - Basements, West Point Expansion, Leavenburg, Eerie County, FortRedstone, Blackwood, Refordville, Blueberry, chernaville, The Frigate etc all added to the standard map! - CURRENCY & TRADER - Trade gold and silver (farmed from the dead) for better equipment and supply boxes, building kits and vehicles. - MODS (Lots of them for variety and QOL) - e.g , Common sense, Brita Guns & Armor, Basements, fitness, extra books and videos, Tarkov/Day Z inventory system, trailers, towing, extra vehicles, fitness mod, entertainment mods etc. - I get some people hate mods but lets be real, they are TINY on this game and take no time to Download install (automatically!) Variety is the spice of life and these arent all unlocked from the start and need to be worked towards. - COMMON AMMO/GUNS - You can find standard shotguns and pistols fairly common (low grade/condition usually), better weapons need to be sourced in specialist locations. Ammo for common weapons is fairly common too. Rare weapons and attachment s(silencers etc) have to be sourced and can be traded. - VARIED ZOMBIES (GENERALLY LOW POP URBAN - BUT...) Runners, screamers, crawlers, rotten, strong are mixed to keep you on your toes. Keep your eyes out for rare BRUTES -these are strong, fast and will destroy you! - HOARDS/AMBUSHES - sometimes things are a little too quiet, especially in some ares of the map where theres good loot! Be aware of hoards coming from nowhere - especially in confined spaces or choke points! Even vehicles are vulnerable to hoards! - WEAK ZOMBIES - Generally zombies are easier to kill , what gets you killed are their numbers in high pop areas! If you play low-key and stay out of high pop areas, you live longer! - TETRIS INVENTORY SYSTEM (Like TARKOV/DAY Z/SCUM) - it adds a mini game to managing and organising your inventory, i get its marmite though! - BASEMENTS - Build your own underground survival bunker, 3 sizes to build, small , medium and large. They require the blueprints to be sourced first, of course. - EVENTS - Admins will run spontaneous events such as supply trucks, last man standing and hoard events... usually for decent rewards too. - ACTIVE ADMINS. Our admins play on the servers too! & MORE
