  1. Ahh, so it's a local server rather than the dedicated one. It's the same thing. It really depends what sort of granularity you want with your saves, there's a LOT of programs out there for doing backups on Windows, Windows even has one built in. What you want is something that can back up folders, on a schedule, incrementally (meaning it will make say 1 full backup a day and then 1 incremental every hour, the incremental backup only saves any changes to the files themselves).
  2. They won't need to do anything, just you. What OS are you using. We're using a remote installation of Backuppc to backup the entire Project Zomboid server directory (we're on Linux)
  3. Quick question folks. Is the dedicated server actually using flatfile rather than SQL for player inventories, constructions and item locations etc? I found only one sqlite file and it contained nothing more than the whitelist, some account info and the ban list. Is the thousands of .bin files in the /Zomboid/Multiplayer/xxxx/ folder where this data is actually stored?
