-I want a mobile mass storage equipment like a shopping cart or craft a wooden wheelbarrow and haul a lot of junk like a greedy homeless guy. I really want to bring a lot of stuff like logs and wood for large construction or bring a lot of food with me and stuff my mouth with it like a greedy pig.
-ladders... Shortcut to a 2nd floor window if the ground floor is crawling with zeds or just take a peek on the 2nd floor. Or maybe I just want to see myself get trapped between zombies reaching out to me from the window and down from below

I really hope the Devs go for this. As any episode of Doomsday Preppers will tell you, the ability to preserve food for long term storage is a must in long term crisis. And glass jars and even canning machines (which can be very basic and non electric driven) would surely be easy to find in a "Kentucky like" area? 
 
Once the power goes off and you have a full garden of vegetables you can't eat all at once and with winter coming you'll want the ability to lay in some provisions for the slow growing months surely? Properly canned or preserved meats, fruits and vegetables can last for years.
 
Maybe the formula could be something like; Vegetable or Fruit or Meat + Cup of Sugar + Empty Jar or Empty Can + Cooking Skill 2 or greater = Jar of/Can of <Insert Food Here>. 
 
Get a cup of sugar by combining an empty mug with sugar. 
 
I could see myself inside my fort, cooking for 14 hours a day and not even looking for zeds to kill.. Maybe I am that easy to amuse...

I Think it would be a great idea to use the crafting skill to make some contraption made of planks, where you can hang raw meat, and cover it with salt so that it won't spoil, it will act as a container and would need a carpentry skill of about 2 points, and a cooking skill of 1 point (So that the player would logically know a way to not let the meat spoil), and to collect salt, you could get it from convenience store, or if you have 1 point in the fishing skill, you could get it from the salt water in the coast, where you could ''fry'' the water on a fire place with a bowl, to get both purified water and salt in 2 inventory spaces, so you would have another source of renewable water. I read that they're going to include car batteries in PZ, likely to provide for lights at night. It would be cool if you could charge up the batteries with a solar panel. There might be other devices that could use batteries too.
