any one know what the soft reset bat file text is for build 29 as it is not the same and it just crashes on start up?

can you please paste the script for the soft reset bat file so i can copy paste as it dose not start up since i moved on to build 29 from build 28 i cant go back as all the new items Edit ok i worked it out now from using the server bat file script

dont think you coursed any lag dont worry about it mostly is generated buy bad programming when players join server

it could be another 15 min till server is back online as its taking some time to back up the map just incase

no there are no downlodes paused or qued and have validated files are all upto date

i can confirm the rain bug also i just did a test and both male and female characters are getting wet under player made roofs and floors also there it no spawn location choice you just get spawned in muld since the update for v29.2 Edit i verified the files for server and client and was 100% complete files

Are you using any mods or the server is using any mods by chance ? no am not using any mods for the server

the Lua files dont mach up for build 29 on mac and linux machines since the update and a few players can not join my server can you put a link to the missing lua files or an update would be nice for non windows players thank you for your time

Bes can you tell me where the lua file is located so i can put up a dropbox link for soerena?

i hope the support team can help may be a linex problem or somthing

only thing i can think is try restarting steam see if it updates i dont know why its not working

i have the same buildiD i saw you get on the player list just now did you lose connection again

its say its still v29.2 it should work if you can get the update to work its only a tiny update over in a flash EDIT you could try a file integrity check in right click and properties in steam if its upto date just try and join again

Yeah there is a steam update i had same problem you need to check steam downloads and see if it is paused in Q or something also check if you reinstated that your on the [iwillbackupmysaves] branch as it can get knocked off on to build 28

just updated the server was offline as of crash and steam update i had to pop out earlier so did not realize till now

no i cant change the stats would be good if i could because i could train my admins up sorry you have had so much bad luck with it

if your not sure how to back up your save go to C/user/username/zomboid/multiplayer and copy and past your save into a new folder so you can plug it back in if you encounter a game braking bug it is best to make the back up away from player made bases on a country road

this has happened to quite a few players including me a few times but build 29 is a a iwillbackupmysaves branch for a good reason you will find game braking bugs on a bad day i have to reboot the server 10+ time a day because it is a test build [build 28 is far more stable] and the server is dedicated 24/7 free for all players i put my self out of pocket for every one to have fun im poor not a multimillionaire that can have server with all the connections of a MMO quality which require subscription fees, but i understand how frustrating it can be the only thing i can do to help at this point is if your character is not dead yet i can cure the bite or infection by god mode you for a second but that is all. otherwise there are other servers running build 28 that you may prefer the stability
