Maths of Zombiefication

hey everyone!

i'm really enjoying build 31 so far but after turning from scratches several times, i started wondering how the math of it actually works. while it seems rather common knowledge that scratches will doom you about 25% and bites about 96% of the times, i couldn't find any information on what influences those numbers.

 

so, i would like to know whether anyone can tell me:

 

1. which traits affect the risk of turning and to what amount? 

2. do first aid measures (like disinfection or bandages) change the risk of turning?

1. To my knowledge, the likelihood of beeing infected by scratches/ bites is not affected directly by any trait. But traits indirectly affect the turning process or the risk of getting zombified:

Thick-/Thin-skinned trait: Lower/higher chance of scratches/ bites (the likelihood of infection is the same)

Prone to illness/ Resilient: Faster/Lower rate of zombification (affects the time between getting infected and turning into a zombie)

 

2. No, desinfaction and clean bandages just prevent 'normal' wound infections (not the zombie infection)
