So.... I did full clean reinstall (all folders deleted from "Zomboid" folder, no subscriptions, etc).... and it did not help. I played for several hours and problem of my character not even sweating was still there. But I decided to install some mods (Better FPS, Auto Mechanics, Cheat Menu reloaded and proximity inventory) and apparently now my character sweats???????????? I really dont know what happened. I think turning on and off god mode somehow solved the problem?

Additional vanilla animal bug report (Build 42, singleplayer, no mods, default sandbox) I have now encountered another serious animal-related issue, this time in a completely separate test run under clean conditions: Singleplayer No mods Default sandbox settings New save / different playthrough from my previous problematic save This means the following issue did not happen in my old migrated/modded save, but in a fresh vanilla run. Setup I have multiple animal zones on my base. These zones do not overlap, and their borders are not crossing into each other. They are separate zones. The zone involved in this issue originally contained only pigs (3 or 4 at most). Later I added: 2 sheep (1 ram, 1 ewe) 1 bull 1 cow calf 1 mother cow linked to that calf 1 additional adult cow The pigs were later removed from that zone and moved into a different nearby zone after one of the pigs suddenly started bashing fences for no obvious reason. After that move, the original zone only contained the sheep and cattle listed above. Separately, there is a neighboring chicken zone nearby. The chicken zone is a different zone and not intended to be mixed with the sheep/cattle zone. What happened A while later, one of the cows in the sheep/cattle zone also started bashing fences for no obvious reason. I repaired the fence and left the animals in place. Because of the damaged fence, the ewe temporarily got into the narrow space between the sheep/cattle zone and the neighboring chicken area. The ewe did not actually enter the chicken zone, but it was standing near the border area between the two enclosures after the fence break. Later, when checking animal status, I found that the ewe now had a baby reference to a Leghorn chick. I then moved the chick and confirmed the behavior: the ewe recognized the Leghorn chick as its baby the chick recognized the ewe as its parent/mother the chick immediately ran toward the ewe with normal baby-follow behavior So this does not appear to be only a UI display issue. The incorrect parent/baby relationship was actually being used by the animal AI/behavior logic. Why this seems important This was a cross-species and apparently cross-zone parent/offspring link: adult sheep ewe baby chicken (Leghorn chick) These animals should never be linked as mother/baby. From the timing, it looks possible that the relationship became corrupted after the fence break and after the ewe temporarily ended up near the neighboring chicken zone boundary. Summary of the suspected bug It looks like under some circumstances, possibly after fence damage / temporary animal displacement near another zone, the game can assign an invalid parent-child relationship across species and across neighboring animal zones. Observed result: ewe gets baby reference to a Leghorn chick chick follows ewe as if it were its mother This happened in a fresh vanilla singleplayer save with no mods and default sandbox settings. -
Can you try increasing the RAM you have allocated to the game? Go to the game install location (Right click the game in Steam > Manage > Browse Local Files) > Open ProjectZomboig64 json file in a text editor > Change "-Xmx3072m" to "-Xmx6G" and see if that helps at all
