controller working now not

xbox one controller was working now is not.

trigger buttons dont work for attack/defense etc. 
registers in options test except when (sensitivity?) is raised from .20
registers in windows 10 controller options test
now i did do an upgrade to xbox one controller drives b/c bozos 10 i mean windows 10
will not recognize the wireless adapter otherwise, always results in driver error when trying to install as plug&play
not sure how to roll it back to check if that is causing the error
may be uninstall and reinstall but havent tried
