I am still having problems with the servers after taking the recommended steps, do you have any other ideas?

What kind of error did you get when trying to join servers hosted by other players? This would be very important to figure out if the issue is on external servers or only with the server you are hosting.

All I am getting is a black screen after the character creation menu no error code.

I was able to join dedicated servers but not able to host or join servers hosted by other players.

It happens when joining any server or creating any, I am also able to play singleplayer just fine.

Any time I host (2.5g allocated ram) or join a server right after character creation my screen goes black, and I can't do anything. if I press escape, I am returned to the main menu.

 

I tried deleting and reinstalling Aswell as verifying the game.
