So, 3 boards and bandages makes you a campfire kit.
Then as long as you have placed you campfire and added fuel (log, board, paper) you can light it with a lighter/matches and written paper.
Alternatively you can make a notched board and a pole and light it using those (an option appears in the context menu). Mind you that this does not work if you are overburdened
