It's also probably one of the oldest games still in development, having started off in 1992. RingoD123 Posted August 6, 2014 Share Posted August 6, 2014 oh wow, didn't realise this had gone free to play(as in FREE, not micro-transaction rubbish), bought one of the versions about 2 year ago, brilliant brilliant game! will defo vote this up and also download the latest version (now free) from the website, even some mods up on there now too. Now it's all donations though and not sales. IIRC he said it initially doubled downloads but cut his income to 1/3rd. So if you enjoy it, it's a good idea to send a few squirrel hides his way. Missing - Presumed Zed Posted August 6, 2014 Share Posted August 6, 2014 Yes! UnReal World is one of my all time favorite games and the pinnacle of realistic survival gameplay. If PZ's wilderness survival mechanics end up even 1/10th as deep they are in this game... To anyone who's turned off by the roguelike tag: this is part of a rare breed of roguelike where player skill, not the random number god, determines survival. Most stuff is explained in-game, but there's also an external wiki (slightly out of date, but most info is still good) that will help new players.
