DoctahWong
If Lousville really does have giant skyscrapers and such, there should be a toppled skyscraper in the middle of the city, sort of like the tower in china rising only bloodier and more destroyed.well, nothing in louisville is taller than 549 feet http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_tallest_buildings_in_Louisville but some type of building destruction would be cool to see Yeah, i didn't really mean the size of China Rising tower, more along the lines of the AEGON center. If only the Louisville Museum Plaza was completed... would've added a nice apocalyptic touch of it being toppled... I'm starting to sound like a sociopath. syfy

No, this is what a sociopath sounds like, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8fvsbQmxZw. You're even more of a sociopath if you watch it all the way through. Kajin
A whole building filled with useless junk and very little loot? I like it.Lot of heavily fortified fencing on the outer areas surrounding a lot of empty land that can be farmed? That's not useless in the least. Brick walls with choke points and cells and different levels and blocks and fortified doors and defensible corridors? Again, not all that useless. I mean, yeah. Useless to a solo survivor. But to a large group with enough people and weapons to hold it? That's a fortress. But if you want to know whether or not it's a good idea to add a prison... Ask yourself, is there a prison on the map near Fort Knox? If yes, then you've answered your own question.

syfy
well it's been retired from active duty for the past 5 years, but there was indeed a Military Prison on the grounds at Fort Knox. a short term prison, for those who had been sentenced to 3 years or less. longer than 3 years went to Leavenworth. http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Is_there_a_military_prison_at_Fort_Knox_Kentucky should have thought of this when i was googling in my first post. but i still think Waverly Hills Sanatorium could be an insane addition to the map(no pun, was mostly a Tuberculosis hospital) Realmkeeper
Bolgfred
I think that, since this is semi rural Kentucky, the prison should be a concrete and steel prison like in those old 1960's prison films and that the only way to get in is through a gate overflowing with zed or using a sledge hammer to get into the courtyard, also overflowing with zed. Only one big hopeless chunk of concrete which is dark on the inside even by day. I'd like to spend my vacation there. And totally agree with a prison now In this place every smiley would turn into a sad smiley and every 'lol' becomes a buhuhu, so we don't need to read those fancy happy-to-sad-smiley-walls-again. but i still think Waverly Hills Sanatorium could be an insane addition to the map(no pun, was mostly a Tuberculosis hospital) Thinking of The Magic Mountain I see bloodletting doctors from 1920 still running the sanatorium treating same patients and zombies while playing mozart and philosophy about the superior living of a zombie society. LeoIvanov
Well, not to brag or anything but I've started some similar project to this that I just couldn't finish because of my own ambitions... I've released a source file for what I've done thus far and I am really hoping someone would get their hands to finish it so the prison sees it's life in Bedford Falls http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/6249-the-walking-dead-prison-tv-show-discontinued-feel-free-to-usefinish/ dnk3912

dnk3912
I've been trying to build Pittsburgh for a while now. Keep putting it off because crap keeps coming up (And I keep playing project zomboid...). I'm also pretty new to it, so I'm not entirely sure how some things work. I have serious issues with creating attractive roofs. Leolvanov's prison does look just like the one in TWD, I think you could get away with a bit of bragging Necromatic_Corgi
Wolfihunter_prey
Prison is a great idea to add! Setting an exiciting challenge much like the mall, but also offer the reward of a safer place to crash with your friends and set up farm etc. This gets especially fun when zombies can break down barricades and fences, and migrate :D
