Best place to create a safehouse in Westpoint?

I had a safehouse in here once, but once when i had been looting houses I accidentally lured a huge horde to my place and died when opened a door with 10+ zombies. (there were zombies everywhere)

-Good centralized location yet still relatively on the outskirts

I use the one across the street from this one on the corner. I hang a sheet rope from the one window on the side, barricade all Windows and doors on the bottom floor, then I destroy the stairs and build a window with a sheet rope at the top. I then start walling it off, from the shed to the street in both directions.

thats a good location, convenient to the river and not too far from the wilds and being able to set traps.

I live at the Hunting Lodge at 13100 : 5310

 

Close to the river, the berries, and farmable with ease. Lots of storage space, and room for more survivors.

 

2 months survival and counting.

I like the motel, it's fairly easy to block off with wooden walls and it has a lot of rooms for NPCs once they're added. Plus there's a nice blood-soaked sunbathing area.

There is no best place to fortify in this game, is my opinion.

 

wherever you got a lot of space, easy to block off and within range of the majority of town would be my best bet, this could be any random house in the middle of town..., but that's just my playstyle.
