A couple of comments:

 

1) This build is pretty punishing in terms of difficulty. 

2) I have encountered the kill zombie crash bug: I think it happens when you kill a crawler mid-swipe... I had a dialog pop-up with the stack trace when it happened. I didn't save or screenshot it though. :/

3) Other than the crawler crash bug, it feels pretty polished compared to 2.9.9.10!

4) The texture for the cheese sandwich is missing. :)

 

update: I reproduced the bug.

update # 2: I figured out how to 100% reproduce the crash. The crash occurs when your melee weapon's condition goes to zero.

 

To reproduce:

1) grab a single spoon or a fork

2) go stab zombies until your weapon's condition is depleted

3) crash city

 

This occured as soon as I got the killing blow on a prone zombie.

Ive got Problems runnin my old Save Game with the new update... The Game loads, i can skip the intro, walk for 1-2 seconds and then the game crashes: http://img818.imageshack.us/img818/3413/a6n6.jpg

 

will i have to wait till updates for the mods are out? Or can someone help me out right now?

I had the Trapping Mod by Peanuts & Thuztor installed, so do I have to wait till there's a mod update?

Got the same problem, and there is no log in the console or any other message. Additionnally, I don't have any mod. Don't know what to add, since I cannot get a log of what's going on.

 

Edit : I just quit the game once the game was loaded (without walking at all) and reloaded the game, it gave me :

I like the difficulty & the "thumbnail" of the cheese sandwich (as well as grilled cheese sandwich & pistol magazine.... get the feeling there was another too but cant remember) was missing in 2.9.9.10 as well

as of now, it is not working.

when it crashes, and you log in again, you'll see your save was duplicated.

so dont use your old save for now.

make a back up of it.

  • In the Last Stand Mode when you play second challenge (haven't tried on first one), in the end of a random wave, zombie counter shows that there is 1 (sometimes 2) zombie left but he is nowhere to be found on the map so you can't advance on to the next wave. It happened 3 times already: first on wave 1 and then twice on wave 2.

Minor typo in Last Stand menu: there should be a space in the title of the challenge name like: Challenge 1 :D

Suggestion: unless there are any tabs open like stats, the Esc button should close them instead of pausing the game.

also i just died while using the sheet rope, feet touched the ground and instant death

 

Same.... also, if there is an obstacle at the bottom of the rope, like a bin, you will stand on an invisible tile outside the window. (Its possible I "walked" off the rope mid animation)

 

..... Damage based on fall time..... Maybe? :unsure:

 

Tested again & this time the obstacle just interrupted the animation, as if I just jumped out the window.... further more, while adding a sheetrope requires having a nail in your inventory, the nails are not consumed. One nail can be used to place as many sheetropes as you want.

 

("Walking" off a sheetrope mid animation is impossible) :D

seems to crash if you use a plank as weapon aswell

I don't know if it is suppose to be like this (and not sure if it was already like this on 2.9.9.10) but some zombies after dieing can't be looted unless you hit them again.

 

Also, my saves from 2.9.9.10 all crash on 2.9.9.11. There is no exception or something else on the debug console, it just crashes and creates a "<savename>_backup" save.

 

 

Edit: Missed a .9 in the versions.

You had some mods installed or something ? Did farming ?

Wow this version increases the difficulty a tonne, first of I was hearing gunshots/ planes and helis like at least twice a day...huge hordes of zombies in the east suburbs even on day one on low zombie numbers. Also after 5 days survival it said I killed 63000 zombies... Glad to have the sheet rope and rain collecting features there but wow this is hard especially with the wandering zeds you just don't know if they have seen you or are walking randomly

we can look at rebalancing the difficulty to account for wandering zoms and such, but most of the other things you mention have gone completely unaltered.

 

the zombie kills count is a bug, as it's counting any zombies placed pre-dead into the world by mistake.
