Crystal Power Cell (homemade battery)

So I found this video yesterday, even though it is a few years old, and holy crap batman!! Freaking awesome!! I'm actually getting really weird looks at the hardware store, probably going to have the FbI knocking on my door to find me trying to make a crystal the size of a refrigerator.

Would be cool as a mod..

Needed Items:

Solid magnesium rod.

Aluminum can also be used but will give a lower voltage.

Copper pipe cap.

Equal Parts of the following:

Potassium chloride - commonly known as salt substitute.

Hydrated potassium aluminium sulfate - commonly known as alum.

Sodium tetraborate - commonly known as 20 mule team Borax.

Magnesium sulfate - commonly known as epsom salt.
