blindcoder
While I personally feel that a HUD-Map would be detrimental to my PZ-experience, i still think that an external map is a very useful tool. So, I present to you: The Project Zomboid Map Project:http://pzmap.crash-override.net/ New page: http://map.projectzomboid.com/ This is a zoomable and panable map (using the OpenSeadragon javascript library) of Muldraugh. Total size: 136 GB Dimensions: 1075200px * 396800px (426.639.360.000 or roughly 426 Gigapixels) The site is currently not available for offline viewing. A new download version will be available in the near future. Currently there are maps of: - Muldraugh, West Point and The Mall Knox County (Survival mode, Builds 30 and 35) - The Challenge Maps - Bedford Falls - Dreadwood - New Denver - Phoenix - Radcliffe - Drayton (Rebuild) - TWD Prison - Vacation Island To help manage the POIs of the maps, have a look at the POI Manager (see an explanation here). IMPORTANT: I AM NOT A TIS DEVELOPER! If you find bugs in the map, please report them in the Map Bugs Tracker! Szary_Optymista
I'll send you small part of area number 9 (1 of 4 - all gives 30kx30k pixels), they are now smaller - each 15kx15k ...so should be making faster, and sending faster as well.
blindcoder
UPDATE Yet again I mapped some more woods north of the farm: http://pzmap.crash-override.net/#0.4707102776940149,0.19344935721574985,3.908225494570876 I know that this might seem boring to many, but it's for the sake of a complete map. More exciting updates will hopefully follow Until then, I urge everyone to send in regions and names for them, no matter how real/funny/epic/off-topic/strange they might be. For starters, I suggest the name MashWood for this area: http://pzmap.crash-override.net/#0.328682274076948,0.200386498387243,18.728998178186327The name stems from IRC where harakka said it reminded him of Mashs forum avatar. blindcoder
UPDATE I've mapped yet more forest area, connecting the road to the north and west of the farm to the highway: http://pzmap.crash-override.net/#0.4400318827179321,0.14097336490114998,2.918125 I can't wait to see what's north of town. I would love to help expanding this map, I just wait for somebody to tell me how to do using Windows. You can use fraps if you have a license for it, otherwise I've heard rumors on IRC that there's something in the works. Also, if push comes to shove, rumor also has it that the next release contains a manaul screenshot function. FloLG

blindcoder
Another boring UPDATE - but at least we now have the western-most area covered:http://pzmap.crash-override.net/#0.5000000000000006,0.3571428571428574,0.8441767068273092 Yes, it's getting dark on the map, a sign that I've been taking screenshots in a real-time sandbox from 9 AM until nightfall. Time to start a new sandbox - or find a place to sleep, I guess.
