Question

Hey everyone,

First of all I made this thread to help other members whom experiencing game crashes, members who got frustrated finding fixes. So after browsing the forums, I've found the solution that's worked for me.

Examples of this members are;

Next, read his/her struggle all the way till he given up on the game; although he maybe been missing some of the Dev's suggestions -- heh figures.

I'm currently on a build 25 with 3D Models. I've experienced same thing like the members I've mentioned above.

So what I did is simple; just follow the steps below.

1. If you already have Project Zomboid installed in your computer then please go to:

Local Disk C: Users/Username/Zomboid -- Delete the Zomboid folder

(Note: Make sure to have a backup of your save files before deleting the Zomboid folder)

2. Download the file provided by EasyPickins -- the NoModels.zip

http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/7081-iwbums-released-build-25-v2-with-3d-models/page-8#entry93789

3. After the download extract it then you will find NOMODELS.bat file and NOMODELS folder.

4. Copy the folder called "zombie" inside the NOMODELS folder and paste that in the Project Zomboid game directory. Ovewrite everything...

(Note: Make sure to have a backup the original zombie folder before overwriting)

5. Start Project Zomboid 32 or Project Zomboid 62 (I'm on 64-bit so yay!) This should load things up properly.

6. Go to options, tweak everything (my computer have shitty specs I have integrated graphics card Intel>>>>shitty GPUs) so I'm putting everything to lowest. Except for the recommended FPS which is default to 30, lightnings to 15 which is also a default.

7. Start the game by choosing either Multiplayer, Survival, Sandbox, or Challenge...depends on what you want to play.

Done!

This should fix the game crashes and no more frustrations. This works for me!

P.S

It would also help a lot if you update your Graphic drivers & the Java Runtime Environment.

Cheers!
