If you're talking about the username and password fields in the server connection screen, those are just so you can pick a screen name when going into the server. The password is usually for a whitelisted server rather than a public one, since you need to have an account with the server if you wanted to connect. The info you input can be anything (unless the server hoster gave you a specific username and password) it isn't and should never be your steam account details. If it is then get it changed. nasKo Posted April 12, 2014 Share Posted April 12, 2014 They will have to be in the same Hamachi network and they will have to use your local ip (assuming it's you who is hosting) to connect.
