hello :)

if you have an Nvidia card, open Nvidia control panel and ensure [image scaling] is ON and set to 50% .. this totally fixed the issue for me :) i hope it works for you.

I tried the what Lou said: [image scaling] is ON and set to 50% , but makes everything looks much worse, even my monitor cannot take the resolution correctly, is like also broke my Nvidia drivers or something (don't know if is only in my case this problem)

Also, answering to you Limony08, the correct temporal solution is to disable the zoomthis remove the blurry & washed colors effect.

See u all 👋

Seems the issue can be partially fixed (at least not blurry but still the colors looks washed and not as good as when zoom is disabled)

Go to Enable Debug mode > Load into the game > Press F11 > Options > IsoSprite > ForceNearestMagFilter:

I tried the debug mode solution, but the result is clearly not the same as when the zoom is disabled. When the zoom is disabled, the game is truly more beautiful. It's very frustrating.

Yes you are totally right, debug mode solution is not fixing the issue 100%, when zoom is disabled the experience is much better, the colors are much more vivid and even the lighting is much better. It's very frustrating, because we need to zoom, but zoom enabled makes the game looks not as good as it should be.

What surprises me the most is that very few people are talking about it. It doesn't seem to bother the Project Zomboid content creators. For me, this is the first change that needs to be addressed. When I switch from version B41 to B42, the difference is striking. How is it that players with thousands of hours in the game aren't more upset by this change?
