Sangennaru
what i like most it's the diversity in the buildings and their realism at the same time! How are you going to manage the space behind the buildings? won't moving there be quite a pain?
Marcelmarceau
behind buildings you say? in paris you have small open areas inside blocks for lighting purposes so you can host more apparments inside the same block you could navigate from building to building using windows and those places (cours intérieures for those who understand french). i'm also waiting for basements, because paris is like swiss cheese, tunnels and basements everywhere. Sangennaru
My concern was about the engine: When you're behind a building you see transparency, but how does it behave when there are several floors overlapped? That concerns me as well with my (imaginary for now) japanese town...
Marcelmarceau
i don't quite understand what you mean, when you're behind a building you only see it's first floor.

Marcelmarceau
take your google map and look for "place de la nation paris" or "place de la bastille paris" then you'll manage to find where those places are.

Marcelmarceau
well that was fixed really quick for africa. i'm back and here's some stuff i've been working on lately: lower class building near a park: the elevated park is progressing (i also thought about barricading some streets as requested) some military took over the parking: haussmanian buildings (note the ground floor across the street are furniture shops): one of the rare bars in paris where they make their own (discusting) wine: church "our lady of hope" and surroundings:(notre dame d'espérance, rue de la roquette -for those who want to take a look at the real one-) bobheckling, Sieben, Footmuffin and 2 others
