Old School Hunting

Hello Everyone,

 

I'm new to Project Zomboid and don't know too much about lua.  I'm thinking I will check out the modding tutorials soon, but in the mean time I was wondering what the PZ community thought about adding the crafting of bows and arrows?  The idea came to mind when I was first using a gun and became engulfed by a horde of zombies.  My idea is to create a range weapon that does not attract zombies while finding other uses for wood/plank.  What do you all think?  If you like the idea please feel free to make a mod; I'm sure it'd be completed more quickly and efficiently than if I tried.

Theres planks and string, you could somehow incorporate those together and another ingredient or so. Like water to bend the bow to shape as a example.

actually, they already plan to have bows and crossbows in the game, and a lot of other cool shit as well.

Ah, thanks for the link.  I guess I need to become more familiar with the site.  That being said, I can't wait to see all their plans realized.  Great work!
