my game doesn't start

I bought project zomboid, when I want to start a game it won't let me, it just goes black and sometimes it takes me out or I get the following message, this happens whether I'm starting the tutorial or a regular game

Still shows the same memory issue, are you certain you selected the "Alternate Launch" option? A console should show up in the background when you use it.
If you are certain, you may need to edit your PC Variables to try and fix the issue.

Find any sort of -Xmx512m variable in there and delete it, since its limiting your RAM to all your Java applications.

acabo de intentar de nuevo con la opción alternativa y me dejó jugar por unos cuantos segundos el tutorial, luego de eso se cerro

si no es esa te pido perdón, no se mucho sobre archivos y esas cosas

The file is in the folder above this one, in the Zomboid folder and not the Logs folder.
The file would just be called "logs", you can then upload it to your reply.

In the case that file is corrupted, can you instead share the console.txt file? It should be in the exact same Zomboid folder.

Thanks, it looks like there may be a problem with your Java memory settings.
Can you try starting the game using the "Alternate Launch" option? You can select it when you launch the game through your Steam Library and then select the second option. See if this helps solve the issue.

Other than that, your PC also does not fulfill the minimum game requirements, so you may not have the best experience playing the game, or it may still crash after trying this fix.
Could you share the logs again if that happens so I can check if anything can be done?

hola, no me funcionó, antes se quedaba en la pantalla de carga justo después de crear un personaje nuevo, ahora se quedó en la pantalla de "click para comenzar" lamentablemente creo que mí PC es la que no colabora para poder correr y jugar el juego, de todos modos gracias hermano

Could you share the logs again to check if its caused by a different error this time? Preferably use the Alternate launch as mentioned to make sure that the memory issue is fixed.
