File does not exist on the server - Linux

Firex

Question

Posted

Hi there,

I'm currently trying to start a Project Zomboid Dedicated Server based on Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS with various mods. I succesfully managed to get the workshop to work and download all of the mods. When I wanted to host a server stress test, a new error occured. Only me, as an admin (Windows OS) was able to join the game and play, while everyone (Also Windows OS) else got the "File does not exist on the server" error.
The internet is basicly empty about this topic and I was only able to find this thread, which apparently been forgotten for sometime now and I was not able to find anything that would help me fix this issue...

Thanks for any potential fixes and help

The linked topic already has an answer, it would just be a problem with the specified mod files on Linux, you would have to report that issue to the mod creator, as they would need to change the encoding or name of the file
