Models using the same texture and mesh cant use different rotations

Bug as described in title. As soon as a model-script uses the same texture and mesh, as another model-script, the game does not use the rotation and offset set in the model-script anymore. It only uses the rotation and offset of the first model placed - if you place another model with different values later, it uses the first models values. 

 

This is 100% a vanilla issue, so please dont banish me into a silent corner, dear mods. You can recreate it in vanilla just by trying to place an opened and a closed umbrella of the same color. I tried working around it in the lua, but cant find a solution myself. So if you smart Indie Stone people have an idea on how to fix this, I would be the happiest person ever to hear it.
