technically, they are in different areas of the map with Dreadwood being roughly north by northwest of muldraugh, and bedford southeast of muldraugh, so they don't occupy the same cells.

we may just have to wait for the Mega Map Mod to come out before we have both maps in addition to the vanilla map

Hey, don't post inaccurate links. The first one isn't anywhere near how to get to Dreadwood.

Those link were accurate at the time of the post, but since the new map update of build 27 all old links for the project zomboid map project will be inaccurate.

The Bedford link for the road is good, maybe put the Dreadwood link closer to the end of the road so people don't get confused

Yes, but a lot of people might not be sure which way to go (left or right).

hence the landmark. left or right may depend on which direction they are coming from.

it's pretty easy to tell that is NOT the Spiffos on that corner.

and quite honestly, i am not sure just how far down the road you walk before you enter the new map. so i cannot give exact coordinates for that, even though i am currently playing this map myself.

if you don't like my link, make one yourself instead of arguing with me about this.

Go to your project zomboid folder, open media, open maps, open Muldraugh KY, drag all downloaded files into this folder. A warning will pop-up asking you if you want to replace the files with the same name. Press yes. Now start a new save and run to the city and have fun^^

Btw, there is alot of glitches so i recommend that you stay away from the prison, even if this is one of the coolest buildings in the game except the mall.

Sorry for asking a retarded question that most people think i am a retard for asking so, but how do I download this map, as in how do I get to the folder I need to get to in order to get this map? :/

For some reason I cannot find the Zomboid folder, so if anyone can help me with that :/ I saw what yamerate said but I cannot find the zomboid folder itself.

  • 3 weeks later...

Well, hello and sorry for the lengthy absence.

Beginning of the summer left me with a virus ridden computer and some real-life complications that caused me to drop off the map. I wanted to speak up and say I'm undecided weather or not I'll continue work on Dreadwood or not. I'd really like to but when I retrieved my backups and re installed the map editor all of my tiles on the map are "???" as well as in the tile viewer. In Tilezed I can get the house to pop up but the terrain and all its detail is a mess of "???". I believe its a matter of where my tiles are located but I cant seem to find their directory path in the editor and don't get why its any different than when I installed it before my computers restoration.

I'm also contemplating completely restarting it from scratch if I can get the editor to work. When I started the project I was learning the editor as I went and thus had a lot of rookie mistakes (mainly layers). If I was to re-do the map it'd space our the residential area and make it a little further away from the more urbanized area.

A tad lengthy but ultimately I apologies for my lack of effort on this project. Thanks guys
