Debug Console

Depends on your OS. On Mac you'll find everything in the console.app ... on windows I guess it's the same.

EDIT: In windows it seems to be the cmd.exe you are looking for. Haven't worked with a PC for quite a while so unfortunately someone else (or you) will have to confirm.

on windows PZ can be started in a console directly (Don't know if via desura it is started using the .bat files but if you would use the .bat files it will start with a console running in the background)

if you don't start with it, or want to have the console still running after PZ closes (like I always want) then indeed cmd is the way to go

(love those free wifi hotspots on vacation :))

Does someone know how I can get print outputs into my bash terminal on linux? Java exceptions are logged there but unfortunately no print() output.

I can't help you with linux, but you could use the "character:Say()" as a work around in the game. Another way would be to simply write a small on-screen debugger like I described here.

Once we have the official ingame debugger life will be much easier anyway ;)
