Project Zomboid fullscreen issue on MacBook Pro 2020 M1 chip

Ive been having an issue with launching the game on my M1 MacBook Pro, whenever I launch it it messes up my resolution on my Mac until I force quit the app which makes it return to normal. When I get loaded in the main menu I can not click anything or even quit the game. I have tried multiple different things to fix this issue but none of them have worked so far is there anything I can do to fix this issue?

Try going to the Home\Zomboid folder and edit the options.ini file.

In that file, edit the fullscreen=true line to fullscreen=false

Then try launching the game again.
