Silly Question About Mac n Cheese

So . . . the mac n cheese (which looks suspiciously like this stuff) in-game is eaten straight from the box . . .

Does that seem . . . normal?  I mean, the boxed mac n cheese I'm familiar with requires boiling up the pasta in a saucepan and mixing up the sauce with water or milk . . . you don't normally just crunch down the uncooked noodles and eat the cheese powder as a chaser.  I think . . .

Is this another culture-specific thing (like "hand torches" versus "flashlights")?  Is boxed mac n cheese sold in some places in "eat straight from the box" form?

This question haunts my dreams and stalks my mind in my waking hours.  My obsessive research has caused my family to leave me and my manager to fire me.  Yet still, my giant wall chart with pictures, news clippings, scrawled notations, and an interconnected, overlapping net of red yarn has told me . . . nothing.

Please . . . I need answers.

I think we are given the option to eat straight from the box maybe like a last resort in dire circumstances when nothing is available near you for gameplay purposes? Examples i am currently scrounging for food and teetering back and forth on a fine line of starving, if i came across a box of mac and cheese that i was not able to eat when that is all that is available id be pretty flustered lol.  This is how you died: mac n cheese.   But no lol most of us dont just eat mac straight from the box lol.

As far as tea in the 90s i don't recall loose tea being a thing in my house hold at all growing up, maybe it was/is a matter of convenience for us.

On a slightly replated note

You should look up Prison Ramen

Normally you boil ramen

ffxiv gil

But prisoners have come up with their own methods of eating

I have heard of prison ramen. It is a popular dish among inmates, as it is cheap and easy to make. There are many different ways to make prison ramen, but some of the most common methods include:

Boiling: This is the most common way to make prison ramen. Simply boil the noodles in water until they are soft.
Microwaving: This is another popular method. Simply microwave the noodles until they are soft.
Frying: This is a less common method, but it can give the ramen a different flavor. Simply fry the noodles in oil until they are crispy.
Toasting: This is another less common method. Simply toast the noodles in a toaster until they are crispy.

Boiling oil is probably frowned upon in most US state and federal prisons.  I mean, I don't know for sure, but that seems nuts.
