Key FOBs and setting off car/house alarms manually

Key FOBs were widely available in the US as early ias 1989 so it is likely that there would be a number of them available in the exclusion zone to allow remote lock (and thus that slight beep) as well as remote car alarm. Some way in general to intentionally set off car alarms and house alarms should the house have one would be a nice feature. Sometimes you need a little extra chaos to smoke out a stubborn opponent, or just because chaos is fun sometimes.
