reclaprecious
Very odd. Have you tried running the game in compatibility mode?

EnigmaGrey
Read this first then give the new build a shot: http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/5794-released-iwillbackupsavebranch-build-25-sp-mp/It has quite a few fixes and outputs proper logs. If the game still fails to work, go to %username%\zomboid and post the contents of console.txt, after you fail to connect. This, of course, requires that your friend's server is also build 25.If it isn't, grab the mpconsole.txt and post its contents here. That would probably be because, occasionally the problem lies with the save associated with the folder. It isn't 100% but it can solve the problems sometimes. EnigmaGrey
And the problem will keep happening again and again if you use an inappropriate username (either accidentally or otherwise), hence console.
