yabis
Hello to all! I wanted to reinstall the server and export the safehouse from the player and import it to the newly installed server. Does anyone of the experienced server survivors know how to do this? thank you for the answer a translation from deepl *I don't know English*
Beard
map_meta.bin and map_zones.bin files would be the important ones. Though I am not sure just moving those will work, since they likely depend on the player characters and player database as well, which I am not sure if you want to transfer over the characters as well. How would I proceed if I only want to reset the map and not the safehouses? without deleting characters?
Beard
Delete everything except those files + players.db and World Dictionary files, make a backup of the map first though.
Kafkatrap
https://grabofus.github.io/zomboid-chunk-cleaner/ https://lordikol.github.io/PZ_MapCleaner/ The only problem with both of these tool is that you cant, to my knowledge, select multiple areas to exclude (such as multiple safehouses) so if you wanted to reset the whole map you'd only be able to save one safehouse, or you'd have to include the areas between the two safehouses. This really should be an option in the vanilla game.
