Chance for tainted tap water after power outage.

During a power outage in real life if the failure is great enough it can cause the pressure in the system to drop to a point that wastewater can be sucked into the tap water system. Water may still come out of the tap but it will not be safe to drink. As much as I find boiling my water all the time a little tedious in PZ it could be an interesting bit of realism. Though many critical systems have provisions to keep workers alive for up to a few weeks in the event of major disasters so they can keep working I imagine they would also struggle to keep everything running under such an event as a zombie apocalypse and may even be overrun possibly increasing the odds of such an event.

Interesting idea... should be a sanbox setting I think and maybe have its own setting when it will occur and with what chance.

If it does would it be every tap or just some? Or all in one town?
