**MORTEM OBIRE** is a serious, 17+, hardcore literate Project Zomboid roleplaying community. We strive towards quality,  text roleplay- with a heavy emphasis on the dread, and hopelessness that a Zombie Apocalypse would entail. With a heavy, thematic, and lingering threat presented with the dead, one must improvise, adapt, and overcome their environment- finding hope amidst the dark.

Our main goal will always be to tell an interesting, well-written, and well-executed story. Built by writers- for writers, our server is designed from the ground up to be immersive, well-written, and deep with lore for readers. 

 

MAIN THEMES EXPLORED -

- Loss of Humanity, will live, etc.

- Dread, and hopelessness.

- Tragedy.

-  Finding hope- no matter what.

Our main points of pride currently consist of -

- An always-up, semi-active server.

- A dedicated player base, with weekly activity checks.

- A slowly growing community to be yourself in.

- An immersive modlist.

- A steadily growing population- with a goal of five members ingame at any given time.
