Infinite 'Connecting'

Heya. I'm experiencing a curious problem- seems like I can't connect back on any server. I managed to play for about an hour or two previously, experienced a gruesome death, then restarted a new char on same server, started up my very own little farm. Tried logging back on in today at several different times, no dice.

 

The log gave me this curious message:

 

return code: 0

sendto failed with code -1 for char 5 and length 1464.

sendto failed with code -1 for char 5 and length 1464.

sendto failed with code -1 for char 5 and length 1464.

ID_CONNECTION_REQUEST_ACCEPTED

 

and then nearly same when I tried logging into another server:

 

sendto failed with code -1 for char 5 and length 1464.

sendto failed with code -1 for char 5 and length 1464.

sendto failed with code -1 for char 5 and length 1464.

ID_CONNECTION_REQUEST_FAILED

 

...which produced a connection failed message in the game, but the first server I successfully joined is still stuck on infinite loop of 'Connecting'. Any ideas how to fix this?

Could be caused by me switching off the Steam 'onlinetest' and playing a bit singleplayer in the meanwhile? I switched back and forth after I first got this problem, so I dunno if it is the actual cause, but just extra FYI, which might have contributed to the cause...

Try deleting the save associated with the server and see where that gets you.
