It's probably a firewall or anti-virus system that might be blocking it? How are you connecting to the server? What's the IP? IS the server on the same machine you play PZ on? Chippy
I'm connecting to the server through the online beta, my ip is my ipv4 and I am running it on the same machine I am playing it on, but my machine should be able to handle it. When I asked how you are connecting to it, I more meant are you using an internal IP or an external IP to connect to it?
Chippy
I'm using the ip address I got from http://whatismyipaddress.com/ which I assume is my external one?
Connall
I'm using the ip address I got from http://whatismyipaddress.com/ which I assume is my external one? Yeah it is. Open up cmd (if you're on windows) and do: ipconfig There should be an IP address for IPv4 Address. Try connecting to the server with that one. If it doesn't work, then I would imagine it's something to do with the server itself. Kirrus
Chippy
ipconfig gave me a different IP address to the one the website gave me, I tried it, but it also failed.

Yeah it should, because what I gave you was an internal IP. IPv4 IP can be used if you are hosting the server on the same machine as the game. If you still can't connect, I would imagine it must be something with your server. Can you post the console of the server and post the client console and we'll see what they say. Chippy
I just checked the network again, turns out my machine was named incorrectly. It works now EDIT: I think I may have connected through localhost. Kirrus
