Ginger_Jones
For three days I have tried to set up a dedicated server, but I can only connect to it locally, not from other networks. What I have triede so far but nothing worked: Setting up port forwarding manually and with UPNP. Opened ports in my firewall. Made exception of game folder in my antivirus (Windows defender). Opened ekstra Ports. Hosting game with and without mods. Searched for the game with local and public IP. Deleted the server and game folder and started over. Does anyone have an idea of what I'm missing? Server specs: i5-4700mq (4 cores 8 threads) 16 GB 1600 MHz RAM 250 GB SSD Windows 10 NVIDIA GT 730 Edited August 22, 2022 by Ginger_Jones Solved

Maybe your network is NAT type 3 wich means that your router is not the one exposed to de internet. You can use a vpn to connect (and all users) using the vpn internal ip, i suggest hamachi log me in to create a network at least to test. in such case you need to disable use of steam on projectzomboid64.json to zomboid.steam=0. Ginger_Jones
Hi Thanks for the suggestion. I called my ISP and they told me, that I did not have a public IP, even though it was listed in the router settings. They then set one up for me and now my server works. 👍
